Over the past two decades, Binaural Audio Technology extensive research with neuro scientists has pinpointed the precise sound waves called "window frequencies" that open the brain to higher states of consciousness.
An independent study conducted by scientists in San Francisco revealed that Binaural Audio Technology videos significantly out-performed all other video of it's kind - allowing 87% of test subjects (who had never meditated before) to enter the deep state of meditation called "theta" or the "twilight state".
Theta is a mysterious and elusive state of consciousness. Scientists call it the gateway to intuition, memory and learning. In theta, bursts of electrical activity called "kindling" ignite flashes of insight and inspiration. Cleansing showers of vivid imagery sparkle before your mind's eye, as you experience untold depths of inner peace. In this extraordinary state, the mysteries hidden in the other 90% are revealed.
You enter the precise state of meditation that is absolutely essential to empower your visualizations and accelerate manifestation.
The results are profound.
Binaural Audio Technology
In 1839 Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, a Prussian physicist and meteorologist, discovered that when you introduce a tone with a different frequency into each ear, the brain automatically perceives the difference and then works to combine the tones. This triggers the brain to produce its own third signal, called a binaural beat, equal to the exact mathematical difference between the two tones. Scientists call this effect "frequency following response".
For instance, if a frequency of 222 Hertz is played into your right ear and 211 Hertz into your left, your brain will automatically detect the difference and a third frequency (electrical signal) will begin to beat at 11 Hertz. Your brain will tune into this specific 11 Hertz frequency, an alpha brainwave, which would be quite relaxing. An obvious and exceptional results of the discovery was the ability to self-direct deep levels of relaxation and meditation.
Over a century after the discovery, in 1973, a research scientist named Gerald Oster published an article "Auditory Beats in the Brain" (Scientific American). His studies brought fresh insight and attention to binaural beat research.
Over the last thirty five years, there have been well over one hundred scientific studies related to the binaural audio technology field of research, confirming its validity. Many psychologists, doctors, teachers, and other professionals have utilized and endorsed the technology. In addition, many of the metaphysical benefits, being beyond our current scientific measure, are yet to be discovered..
So what exactly is a brain wave?
By attaching electrodes to the scalp and using a device known as an electroencephalogram (EEG), we can view and analyze the traces of electrical activity in the brain that represent the "brain waves".
Like all waves, brain waves have a frequency, measured in cycles per second or Hertz, which is the number of cycles the wave goes through in one second. So, a lower Hertz number represents a slower wave.
Brain waves are categorized by their frequency. There are four kinds brain waves generally known to science and measured by EEGs - alpha, beta, theta, and delta - and one more that has been recently discovered now that EEGs are becoming sensitive enough - gamma.
·Beta brain waves, measured at thirty to forty Hertz, are the brain state of our normal waking consciousness. Nearly all forms of action, thinking, and problem solving are done with a beta brain wave. Most people spend most of their waking lives in a beta state.
·Alpha brain waves, measured at seven to thirteen Hertz, are the brain state of relaxation and meditation. The alpha state is associated with creativity and super learning, where the brain learns at a faster and deeper level than it does in beta. Most meditation and energy healing techniques cultivate and utilize an alpha brain wave for relaxation and healing.
·Theta brain waves, measured at four to seven Hertz, are the brain state of REM sleep (dreams), hypnosis, lucid dreaming, and the barely conscious state just before sleeping and just after waking. Theta is the border between the conscious and the subconscious world, and by learning to use a conscious, waking Theta brain wave we can access and influence the powerful subconscious part of ourselves that is normally inaccessible to our waking minds. While in the Theta state, the mind is capable of deep and profound learning, healing, and growth - it is the brain wave where our minds can connect to the Divine and manifest changes in the material world.
· Delta brain waves, measured at less than four Hertz, are the brain state of deep sleep and unconsciousness.
· Gamma brain waves, measured at forty plus Hertz, are the brain state of hyper alertness, perception, and integration of sensory input. When time seems to slow down during a car accident, the brain is entering a high gamma state.
